It is also used in the combination with other antibiotics in surgical prophylaxis. This medicine acts by killing the bacteria and preventing the spread of infection. Metrogyl 200 MG Suspension may show some common side effects such as dizziness, stomach ache, diarrhoea, metallic taste in the mouth, etc. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms bother you for a long time or worsen. Avoid consuming alcohol as it may lead to undesired effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, etc. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Metrogyl 200 MG Suspension should be taken after food. Take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Take it every day at the same time for the ease of remembering and for its effectiveness. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Complete the course of treatment even if you feel better after taking a few doses.
